Ville Platte Police Department reports seven recent arrests
The Ville Platte Police Department reported seven arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Layton Ashurst, 25, 420 Wyble Road, Ville Platte, was charged September 28, with no driver’s license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ashurst remained incarcerated on a $5,200 bond.
•Jaekoby Manley, 33, 130 W. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was charged October 1, with no reflective gear. Manley was released on a $200 bond.
•Laquanna Leday, 27, 806 N. Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged October 5, with no driver’s license and criminal damage to property. Leday was released on a $900 bond.
•Calvin Wilson, 57, 104 E. Beauregard St., Ville Platte, was charged October 3, with driving under suspension and leaving the scene of an accident. Wilson was released on a $1,000 bond.
•Eddie Stagg, 20, 617 Martin Luther King St., Ville Platte, was charged October 4, with reflective gear and resisting arrest. Stagg remained incarcerated on a $3,400 bond.
•Elin Thomas, 48, 1535 Blake St., Ville Platte, was charged October 2, with domestic abuse, simple battery and resisting an officer. Thomas was released on a $225,000 bond.
•Elin Thomas, 48, 1535 Blake St., Ville Platte, was charged October 2, with failure to yield and disturbing the peace. Thomas was released on a $200 bond.
