VPPD reports 10 arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 10 arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Derek LeCompte, 33, 1150 Rozas St., Ville Platte, was charged October 18, with obstructing a public passage, disturbing the peace and no reflective gear. LeCompte was released on a $600 bond.
•Brian Thomas, 33, 1813 State Ave., Ville Platte, was charged October 5, with no reflective gear and possession of a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance. No bond information was available.
•Joshua Weathersby, 23, 1835 State Ave., Ville Platte, was charged October 19, with disturbing the peace. Weathersby was released on a $200 bond.
•Randy Jack, 40, 1519 Division Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 22, with no reflective gear. Jack was released on a $200 bond.
•Chanka Edwards, 20, 1123 N. Chataignier St., #3, Ville Platte, was charged September 7, with remaining after being forbidden and unauthorized use. Edwards was released on a $1,000 bond.
•Claudia Thomas, 40, 1802 Kembo St., Ville Platte, was charged October 16, with battery on an officer, resisting an officer (two counts) and aggravated assault. Thomas was released on a $2,500 bond.
•Shelli Rollins, 26, 824 W. Cotton St., Ville Platte, was charged October 9, with simple battery on a juvenile. Rollins was released on a $500 bond.
•Brandon Fontenot, 34, 700 Propser St., Ville Platte, was charged October 22, with domestic abuse battery. Fontenot was released on a $1,000 bond.
•Heather Fontenot, 31, 700 Prosper St., Ville Platte, was charged October 22, with domestic abuse battery. Fontenot was released on a $1,000 bond.
•Jeremi Randle, 34, 6574 Pine Point Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 21, with harassment. Randle was released on a $500 bond.
