Mamou police report five recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported five recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Dwayne Thomas, 22, 522 East St., Mamou, was charged January 2, with domestic abuse battery. Thomas was transferred to the parish jail.
•Dejuan Guillory, 23, 1545 Fusilier Drive, Mamou, was charged January 5, with interference and criminal damage to property. Guillory bonded out of jail January 8.
•Caran Trimble, 17, 1012 Hickory St., Mamou, was charged January 5, with aggravated battery. Trimble was transferred to the parish jail.
•Jonathon Malveaux, 29, 400 Mulberry St., Mamou, was charged January 11, with theft (two counts). Malveaux remained in jail at press time.
•James Wilson, age unknown, 249 Church St., Ville Platte, was charged January 12, with theft (two counts). Wilson remained in jail at press time.
