Mamou police report six recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported six recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Jody D. Fontenot, age unknown, 734 Prudhomme Lane, Ville Platte, was charged February 15, with discharge of a firearm in the city limits (11 counts). Fontenot bonded out of jail the same day.
•Brennan J. Andrews, 31, 913 Main St., Mamou, was charged February 18, with disturbing the peace in a violent manner. Andrews bonded out of jail the same day.
•Billy Thomas, 18, 1004 Ninth St., Mamou, was charged February 20, with driver must be licensed. Thomas bonded out of jail the next day.
•Joshua D. Foster, 24, 8929 Mandela Drive, New Roads, was charged February 23, with possession of marijuana. Foster remained in jail at press time.
•Lloyd Martin Jr., 17, 8693 Mandela Drive, New Roads, was charged February 23, with possession of marijuana. Martin remained in jail at press time.
•Brittany M. Smith, 24, 371 Robertson St., Morganza, was charged February 28, with possession of marijuana and introducing contraband into a penal institution. Smith remained in jail at press time.
