Mamou police report nine recent arrests
The Mamou Police Department reported nine recent bookings into the town jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Beau M. Blanchard, 913 Elm St., Mamou, was charged June 16, with cultivating marijuana. Blanchard was transferred to the parish jail.
•Jeremy Gallow, 908 East St., Mamou, was charged June 18, with disturbing the peace. Gallow was released from jail.
•Marcus Arvie, 103 Hickory St., Mamou, was charged June 20, with remaining after being forbidden. Arvie bonded out of jail.
•Kareen LeDay, 27, 101 Railroad Ave., Mamou, was charged June 24, with hit and run and suspended affidavit. LeDay bonded out of jail the same day.
•Gabrielle Fontenot, 16, 1501 Poincianna Ave., Mamou, was charged June 26, with remaining after being forbidden. Fontenot bonded out of jail the same day.
•Chris Williams, 48, 712 Second St., Mamou, was charged June 26, with domestic abuse battery. Williams was transferred to the parish jail.
•Terry Thomas, 48, Sixth St., Mamou, was charged June 28, with theft. Thomas bonded out of jail on June 30.
•Chris Johnson, 39, 108 Eighth St., Mamou, was charged June 15, with disturbing the peace by fighting. Johnson bonded out of jail.
•Charles Smith, 24, 712 Second St., Mamou, was charged June 28, with simple criminal damage to property over $500. Smith bonded out of jail.
