Mamou police report seven recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported seven recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Patrick Thomas, 32, 3222 Monier Ave., Reddell, was charged September 26, with disturbing the peace by fighting. Thomas was released from jail October 1.
•Candice Charlie, 22, 3222 Monier Ave., Reddell, was charged September 26, with disturbing the peace by fighting. Charlie bonded out of jail September 27.
•Shirley Anderson, 808 Sixth St., Mamou, was charged September 27 with aggravated Assault. Anderson was released from jail.
•Shani Yvette Adams, 33, 1024 Fourth St. Mamou, was charged October 1, with identity theft (three counts). . Adams was transferred to the parish jail.
•Brian K. Cormier, 45, 1626 Cazan Drive, Mamou, was charged October 2, with simple battery. Cormier bonded out of jail the same day.
•Shaun M. Herbert, 19, was charged October 3, with disturbing the peace in a violent manner, resisting arrest and misrepresentation during booking. Herbert remained in jail at press time.
•Cheyenne Aucoin, 26, 514 Second St., Mamou, was charged October 3, with simple battery. Aucoin remained in jail at press time.
