BOSTON- At the edge of the political stage for 16 years, Vicki Kennedy is now in the spotlight, her role in America’s most storied political family expanded because of her husband’s brain cancer.

Martha “Tookie” Frederick of Abbeville married Robert Maurice Sonnier of Scott, LA in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on July 3, 1958.

Andrea Kay Guidry of Lafayette and Miguel Angel Hernandez of Youngsville will marry in a 2:00 p.m. ceremony June 28 at the Alfa and Omega Church International in Lafayette.

Michelle Lynn Nicholas and Marcus James Taylor will exchange vows of matrimony Saturday, June 28, 2 008 at 7:00 p.m. in Magdalen Square in Abbeville.

Michelle is the daughter of Robert Nicholes and Stepmother Cindy Nicholes of Erath and of Beverly Bourque of Abbeville.
