Fred’s Lounge will honor yet another Cajun Music Legend, Harrison Fontenot, Saturday, March 29, at 10 a.m. during a KVPI broadcast. Fontenot will be inducted into Fred’s famous Wall of Fame.

The St. Landry Parish Retire Intiative Committee will hold a public forum Thursday to get input on developing St. Landry Parish as a Louisiana Certified Reirement Community.

The forum will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the clubhouse area of Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino.

Henderson – St. Martin Parish was high on the list of places to visit when the world-renowned Sussex Avenue Fiddlers of Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada, planned a 30th anniversary trip.
