PRE-TEEN MISS WINNER - Destiny Danae Menier was chosen as the Pre-Teen Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.

Mamou Cajun Music Festival royalty crowned

The second annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival Pageant was held Sunday, August 23, at the Mamou Recreational Center. The queens will represent the 44th annual Mamou Cajun Music Festival, which will be held September 4-5, at the Mamou Recreational Center.
Winners and the runners-up were announced as follows:
Baby Miss: Hadleigh Faith Cormier, the daughter of Aaron and Olivia Cormier, was named Baby Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Emma Lou Marcantel, the daughter of Brandon and Krystyn Marcantel, was named first runner-up to the Baby Miss queen.
Petite Miss: Zylee Danielle McQuirter, the daughter of Johnathon and Danielle McQuirter, was selected as Petite Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Rounding out the Petite Miss court were Jewel Faith Vidrine, the daughter of Joel and Krista Vidrine, first runner-up; and Isabella Gradney, the daughter of Erin Marcantel and Burnell Gradney, second runner-up.
Toddler Miss: Izzy Blair Marcantel, the daughter of Brandon and Kristyn Marcantel, was chosen as Toddler Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.
Tiny Miss: Camille Michelle Bieber, the daughter of Charles and Michelle Bieber, was crowned Tiny Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Camille Lee Guillory, the daughter of Rob and Lauren Guillory, was named first runner-up to the Tiny Miss queen.
Little Miss: Mali Layne Rodriquez, the daughter of Chris and Kelsey Rodriquez, was named Little Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. Autumn Kerah Hooks, the daughter of Robert and Katie Hooks, was named first runner-up to the Little Miss queen.
Deb Miss: Ava Catherine Sarkies, the daughter of Stephen and Robyn Sarkies, was awarded the title of Deb Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.
Pre-Teen Miss: Destiny Danae Menier, the daughter of Katie Hooks and James Menier, was selected as Pre-Teen Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.
Teen Miss: Angel Dawn Menier, the daughter of Katie Hooks and James Menier, was chosen as Teen Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.
Jr. Miss: Katheryn Leigh Giles, the daughter of Richard Bacon and Emily Fontenot, was named Jr. Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen.
Miss: Torian Paige Veillon, the daughter of Kevin and Dalayne Veillon, was crowned Miss Mamou Cajun Music Festival Queen. She is a 2015 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte. She is currently a freshman at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she is pursuing a degree in psychology. She then plans to earn a master’s degree as a child and family psychiatrist. On campus, she is involved in the Students for Life Organization, Ragin’ Cajun Catholics and plans to be part of the student government association. Her hobbies include traveling, learning about new places, being with friends, meeting new people, critiquing movies, volunteering and studying.
