Two connected to Turkey Creek murder investigation bond out

Two individuals that were arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Turkey Creek on July 1, 2016 have bonded out of jail, while another, who has been on the run since the incident, has finally been caught.
On Thursday, August 18th, Elizabeth R. Auxilien, who was arrested on July 5th, and Michael P. Auxilien, who was arrested on July 13th, were released from jail on a $325,000.00 bond.
Elizabeth and Michael, both of Mamou, were arrested for accessory after the fact to second degree murder along with David Williams, Christina Williams, Heather Tate, Anissa Hallmark, Jeremy Jorden, and Brian Granger.
The most recent arrest made in connection with the shooting that claimed the life of Shreveport man Clifton Hallmark took place on August 22, 2016 and resulted in the detainment of Richard A. Smith. The 46-year-old white male was also booked on the charge of accessory after the fact to second degree murder. Smith’s bond has been set at $325,000.
While a total of nine arrest have been made involving the pre-Fourth of July party that resulted in one death, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is still in search of Leland Hamm, 42. Hamm, who is originally from Kansas, was residing in Turkey Creek prior to the incident.
