VPPD Arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported six recent bookings into the city jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Justice Fontenot, 19, 1329 Te. Mamou Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 17, 2016 for disturbing the peace by fighting and simple battery. Fontenot was released from jail on a $1,200.00 bond.
• Jermaine Larnette, 39, 1408 MLK Drive, Ville Platte, was arrested on September 18, 2016 for theft of goods. Larnette remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
• Brittany Gallow, 25, 806 N. Latour St. Apt. #29, Ville Platte, was arrested on September 18, 2016 for disturbing the peace. Gallow was released from jail on a $200.00 bond.
• Edward L. Lomas, 26, 416 E. Cotton St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 22, 2016 for domestic abuse battery. Lomas remains incarcerated on a $1,000.00 bond.
• Jaonnie Arvie, 28, 706 Deroun St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 23, 2016 for remainng after forbidden. Dupre remains incarcerated on a $500.00 bond.
• Precious Thomas, 26, 1186 N. Chataignier St. Apt. #30, Ville Platte, was arrested on September 24, 2016 for remaining after forbidden and disturbing the peace. Thomas was released from jail on a $700.00 bond.
• Precious Thomas, 36, 1186 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 29, 2016 for theft of goods. Thomas was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Skyla Thomas, 29, 613 E. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on September 29, 2016 for theft of goods. Thomas was released from jail on a $500.00 bond.
• Edith Mercer, 31, 925 Brandy, was arrested on October 3, 2016 for disturbing the peace by fighting and simple battery. Mercer remains incarcerated on a $2,400.00 bond.
