Mr. LeDay, Miss Frank plan May nuptials

The engagement of Miss Valencia Gail Frank to Mr. James LeDay, the son of Mary Delafosse and Milton LeDay of Lake Charles, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Frank of Ville Platte.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, May 28, 2011, during a 2 p.m. ceremony at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte.

Miss Frank, whose mother is the former Pathenia Myles of Bayou Chicot, is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Frank, Dorothy Monday and Vionell Myles.

She is a graduate of Ville Platte High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Mr. LeDay’s mother is the former Mary Wilson of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of Gilbert and Mary LeDay and Edolia and Manuel Wilson.

A graduate of Washington Marion High School in Lake Charles, he served in the United States Navy.
