Evangeline Central students create nativity scene
The Evangeline Central JAG career association completed their service learning/community service component in the JAG curriculum with a life-size Nativity scene for the City of Ville Platte. The nativity will be on display in The Allen Ortego Park for the Christmas parade and lighting ceremony today, December 7. Congratulations Evangeline Central JAG for giving back your gifts, talents, interests and ability to your community. Special thanks to Raymond Guillory, NCCER carpentry instructor; Assistant Principal Quint West and JAG Specialist Dianna Johnson. Pictured with project in the first photo are Troy Wortham, Matthew Guillot and Daylon Crosby.
