Funeral services were held for Beverly Ann Ardoin, 79, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 16. Burial followed in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Ardoin died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at her residence.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was honored as CDA of the Year. She was also an active volunteer at the Mercy Regional Hospital Adoration Chapel and a member of the Ville Platte VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #3803. She was a shining example of every Christian virtue, pure as a lily, simple as a dove and obedient as an angel.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Derell Ardoin of Ville Platte; two sons, Pat Ardoin and James Ardoin and his wife, Ashley, all of Ville Platte; and one daughter, Amy Windsor and her fiancé, Rick Latiolais, of Catahoula. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 12 grandchildren, Ted Ardoin, Josh Ardoin, Jacob Ardoin, Nikita Catoire, Tressi Lee, Sarah Landry, Brian Windsor, Kaitlyn Ardoin, Tyler Ardoin, Ethan Ardoin, John Patrick Ardoin, Elizabeth Ardoin; and eight great-grandchildren, Milly Ardoin, Ava Catoire, Dalton Catoire, Camille Landry, Zac Lee, Hunter Lee, Drake Lee and Alivia Lee.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ted Ardoin.
Father Tom Voorhies officiated.
