Clayton Guillory

PINE PRAIRIE - Funeral services will be held for Clayton Guillory, 85, former resident of Beaver, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 20. Burial will follow in the St. Peter’s Cemetery in Pine Prairie.
A loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Mr. Guillory died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice.
Survivors include one son, Michael Guillory and his wife, Brenda, of Warner Robins, Georgia; two daughters, Kay Pittman and her husband, Paul, of St. Francesville and Nancy Guillory and her husband, Patrick, of Eunice; one brother, Bill Guillory of DeQuincy; one sister, Nora Lee Soileau of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Guillory; his parents, Louis and Omerine Fontenot Guillory; three brothers, Calvin, Nelson and Alvin Guillory; and four sisters, Joyce Fontenot, Dela Mae Guillory, Ella Rose Evans and Agnes Young.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Thursday, June 19, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. A Rosary will be recited in his honor Thursday evening at 6 p.m. by Deacon Chuck Ortego. The funeral home will reopen on Friday, June 20, at 8 a.m. until time of service.
Father Alphonse Thainese will officiate.
