Georgiana Fontenot

Funeral services were held for Georgiana Fontenot, 82, of Ville Platte, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 23. Burial followed in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Mrs. Fontenot died Monday, March 21, 2016.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Joseph Fontenot of Ville Platte; three sons, Patrick Miller of Ville Platte, Jimmy Miller and his wife, Vianna, of Duson and Mike Miller of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Debbie Gorman and her husband, Richard, of Baton Rouge and Donna Pierce of Ville Platte; one brother, Glenn Pitre of Baytown, Texas; and one sister, Etheline Miller of Eunice. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eveline Deville; and one daughter, Rebecca Miller.
Father Mitchell Guidry officiated.
