VILLE PLATTE- Visitation for Michael J. Stark will begin at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Sunday, February 26, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of service. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Inurnment will take place at Belaire Cove Cemetery. Father Taj Glodd will officiate services.
Stark, 69, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Ville Platte.
Stark was the owner and operator of Stark Mechanics for nine years. He previously worked for John Deere in Ville Platte and Eunice for over 20 years. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, arts & crafts, reading the newspaper, but especially loved his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Stark will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife, Sandra Stark; daughters, Janet Vidrine and husband, Gregory, and Karen James Stark; brother, Timm Stark; and grandchildren, Michael James, Zachary James, Gavin James, Tressa Vidrine and Alex Vidrine.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius Stark, Jr. and Phyllis Stark, daughter, Becky Stark Lafleur, and brothers, David Stark and Richard Stark.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
