Myrtle Andree “Nee Nee” LeBas

Funeral services will held for Myrtle Andree “Nee Nee” LeBas, 73, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 29. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Ms LeBas died Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. She was an employee of Evangeline Drug Store for over 25 years and was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Survivors include one daughter, Anita Andree Soileau and her husband, Eric, of Ville Platte; three brothers, Carlyle LeBas and his wife, Wylla, of Austin, Texas, and Bernard LeBas and his wife, Charlotte, and Peter LeBas and his wife, Rachel, all of Ville Platte; two sisters, Jacqueline LeBas of Ville Platte and Adelaide Dupre of Opelousas; one sister-in-law, Janet LeBas of Ville Platte; and one granddaughter, Mallory Cecile Soileau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Myrtle Bordelon LeBas; and two brothers, Cecil LeBas and Frankie LeBas.
Father Tom Voorhies will officiate.
