Ray Allen Veillon

ABBEVILLE - A memorial service will be held for Ray Allen Veillon, 72, of Abbeville, at the Abbeville Methodist Church at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 20.
A native of Ville Platte, Mr. Veillon died Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, following a battle with cancer.
Survivors include his four children, Renée Godeaux and her husband, John, of Gonzales, Koby Veillon and his wife, Ashley, of Lakeland, Florida, Kade Veillon and Summer of Long Beach, Mississippi, and Kacy Jo Veillon of Monroe; seven grandchildren, Megan Godeaux and her husband, Alex Cowart, and Lacey Godeaux, all of Gonzales, Aubrey Abshire of Hoffman Texas, Lexi and Brigh McWilliams and Alyse Veillon, all of Long Beach, Mississippi, and Jacob Veillon of Lakeland, Florida; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Cheyenne Cowart of Gonzales.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Catherine Ramke; his parents, Martin and Eusage Veillon; three brothers, Roland Veillon, Rollance Veillon and Wade Veillon; one sister, Bernia V. Dupre; and one son, Christopher Veillon.
