Services for Rev. LeeRoy Jack Jr. will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Ninth Baptist Church in Ville Platte at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in New Light Baptist Cemetery in Vidrine.
Jack, 61, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Lafayette General Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Toussaint Jack, of Ville Platte; his parents, LeeRoy Jack, Sr., of Vidrine, and Renella E. Jack, of Mamou; two daughters, Delain Jack and Wendy Jack, both of Mamou; eight sons, Gemini Jack, Johnathan Ben (Hailey), and Reginald Ben, all of Ville Platte, Randy Ben (Lapia) of Houston, Texas, Adam Toussaint (Carla) of Ville Platte, Ordesto Toussaint, and Jordan Seriale, both of Ville Platte, and Lazaro Seriale of Houston, Texas; 22 grandchildren; four sisters, Diana Landry (Wilson) of Opelousas, Mary Della Dominic and Libby Robertson (Leroy), both of Ville Platte, and Gloria Metoyer (Allen) of Houston, Texas; and three brothers, Nelson Jack (Velma), Roland Jack, both of Ville Platte, and Ronald Jack (Fabiola) of Mamou.
Jack was preceded in death by his late wife, Linda Ben Jack; a brother, Arthur Jack; and maternal grandparents, Leon Edwards and Ella Mae Edwards and Raymond and Idell Jack.
