VPPD in search of burglary suspect

Ville Platte Chief of Police Neal Lartigue is requesting information from the public regarding the recent burglary that occurred at a local business.
In a release from the chief, it states, “On or about the evening of August 31st and the morning of September 1, 2017, items were stolen from a local business on East Main Street in Ville Platte.”
The release went on to say that “officers and detectives report that a padlock was cut and the suspect entered the business grounds and stole a welding machine, 60-point air compressor, aluminum tool box, and a 6x8 custom made trailer with a sheet metal roof.”
