Mr. Ardoin, Miss Sonnier plan September nuptials

The engagement of Miss LeeAnne Nell Sonnier to Mr. Matthew Bailey Ardoin, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Ardoin of Vidrine, has been announced by her parents, Dale and Angie Sonnier and Melissa and Henry Luke, all of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, September 20, 2014, during a 7:15 p.m. ceremony at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Chataignier.
Miss Sonnier, whose mother is the former Melissa Ann Fuselier of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of Mackie Fuselier, the late John Raphael Fuselier, Bernadine Sonnier, the late Taylor Sonnier and Janice LaTour.
A 2006 graduate of Ville Platte High School, she received a degree in nursing from LSUE in 2010 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing.
Mr. Ardoin’s mother is the former Susan Young of Mamou. He is the grandson of Clayton Young, the late Loretta Young, the late Ray Ardoin, Norma Ardoin, Eldon Chapman, Margie Chapman and Lana Chesson.
A 2006 graduate of Mamou High School, he is currently employed with ENI.
