Mr. Dupre, Miss Fontenot plan July nuptials

The engagement of Miss Logan Elizabeth Fontenot to Mr. Alexander Emile Dupre, the son of Kirk and Amy Dupre of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Timothy Fontenot of Ville Platte and Anthony and Elizabeth Miller of Youngsville.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, July 18, 2015, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at Martin de Tours in St. Martinville.
Miss Fontenot, whose mother is the former Elizabeth Keigley of Crowley, is the granddaughter of the late William and Vivian Keigley and Maynor and Margie Fontenot of Ville Platte.
A graduate of Comeaux High School in Lafayette, she received a degree in elementary education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Mr. Dupre’s mother is the former Amy Berthelot of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of James and Penny Berthelot and Patsy Andrepont Dupre, all of Ville Platte, and the late Meris Dupre.
A graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, he received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
