Mr. Guillory, Miss Myers plan August nuptials

The engagement of Miss Alexis Emilianne Myers to Mr. Jake Louis Guillory, the son of Raymond and Tina Guillory of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Donnie and Danielle Myers of Midland.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, August 16, 2014, during a 6 p.m. ceremony at Vermilionville in Lafayette.
Miss Myers, whose mother is the former Danielle Duhon of Abbeville, is the granddaughter of Davalyn Duhon of Abbeville, the late Donald Duhon and the late Walter “Manny” and Eldarene Myers.
A 2009 graduate of Midland High School, she received a degree in accounting and finance from McNeese State University in Lake Charles in May 2014. She is currently employed as a staff accountant with Fruge Seafood in Branch.
Mr. Guillory’s mother is the former Tina Fontenot of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of Jesse and Nelda Fontenot of Ville Platte and the late Noah and Hilda Guillory.
A 2001 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, he attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently employed as a dispatch manager with Dupre’ Logistics, LLC in Lafayette.
