Mamou police report seven recent arrests

The Mamou Police Department reported seven recent bookings into the town jail. Arrested were the following persons:
•Racquel Freeman, 25, 928 W. First St., Port Arthur, Texas, was charged February 20, with simple assault. No bonding information was available.
•Jasmine Jack, 21, 619 High School Drive, Ville Platte, was charged February 20, with simple assault. Jack bonded out of jail the same day.
•Keanda Griffin, 20, 908 Ninth St., Mamou, was charged February 20, with simple assault. Griffin bonded out of jail the same day.
•Brigette Latailais, 22, 708 Main St., Mamou, was charged February 20, with remaining after being forbidden and theft of goods. Latailais bonded out of jail the same day.
•Michael Goodley, 57, 505 Oak St., Mamou, was charged February 20, with simple battery. Goodley bonded out of jail the same day.
•Gail Wilson, 31, 604 second St., Mamou, was charged February 22, with remaining after being forbidden. Wilson was released on a citation.
•Marshall Weston, 44, 902 East St., Mamou, was charged February 22, with domestic abuse battery. Weston remained in jail at press time.
