sheriff's office reports 10 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Linton Jerry Fontenot Jr., 31, 2693 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 25, with disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
•Amanda L. Ortego, 40, 4358 Heritage Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 26, with DWI (second offense) and driving left of center. Ortego was released from jail on a $1,750 bond.
•Renaldo Vandez Gallow, 34, 1118 MLK St., Ville Platte, was charged March 1, with harassment and stalking. Gallow was being held in jail on a $2,000 bond at press time.
•Lloyd Strother, 34, 4451 Fifth Ave., Apt. 71, Lake Charles, was charged February 27, with identity theft, false online representation and computer fraud. Strother was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
•Jekinzie Anderson, 21, 1034 Rachel Drive, Ville Platte, was charged February 27, with disturbing the peace, threatening a public official and resisting an officer (three counts). Anderson was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Logan Seth Morrison, 19, 198 Oak Knoll Drive, Ville Platte, was charged March 1, with DWI (second offense), Hardship driver’s license violation and careless operation. Morrison remained in jail on a $2,326.50 bond at press time.
•Larry Benjamin Thomas, 31, 718 Harold Bordelon, Apt. 184, Ville Platte, was charged February 27, with unauthorized entry, resisting an officer, domestic abuse and false imprisonment. No bonding information was available.
•Jordan Lynn Richard, 19, 504 Fourth St., Mamou, was charged February 28, with resisting arrest and battery of a police officer. Richard was being held in jail on a $1,500 bond at press time.
•Lauren Marie Lebas, 20, 1144 E. Hickory St., Ville Platte, was charged February 28, with DWI (first offense) and acceleration while being passed. Lebas was released from jail on a $1,276.50 bond.
•Arthur William Buxton, 23, 703 Magnoil St., Apt. 295, Mamou, was charged March 1, with possession of Schedule II narcotic. Buxton was being held in jail on a $20,000 bond at press time.
