Sheriff's office reports 16 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 16 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Tony Orlando Freeman, 38, 2396 Lot 2, Crimson Lane, Ville Platte, was charged February 20, with domestic abuse battery and remaining after being forbidden. Freeman was released from jail on a $7,500 bond.
•Dalton D. Denton, 23, 228 Demourelle St., Ville Platte, was charged with resisting an officer and illegal possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony. Denton was being held in jail on a $45,000 bond at press time.
•Nicole Denise Guillory, 36, 307 Highway 29, Eunice, was charged February 21, with disturbing the peace. Guillory was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
•Mohamed Mellouki, 42, 7732 Highway 613, St. Francisville, was charged February 21, with DWI (first offense), open container and failure to dim. Mellouki was released from jail on a $1,151.50 bond.
•Alyssa S. Manuel, 19, 1013 Eighth St., Pine Prairie, was charged February 21, with no driver’s license, DWI (first offense) and careless operation. Manuel was released from jail on a $1,451.50 bond.
•James S. Deville, 39, 705 E. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged February 20, with theft over $1,500 (three counts). Deville was released from jail on a $80,000 bond.
•Jill L. Deville, 36, 705 E. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged February 20, with theft over $1,500 (thre counts). Deville was being held in jail on a $80,000 bond at press time.
•Jeremy Bryce Willis, 23, 1405 LaHaye Road, Mamou, was charged February 20, with domestic abuse battery and cyberstalking. Willis was being held in jail on a $40,000 bond at press time.
•Ray Jones, 50, 1511 Division Road, Ville Platte, was charged February 21, with disturbing the peace and simple criminal damage to property. Jones was being held in jail on a $2,000 bond at press time.
•Johnathon Dixon Jr., 1316 S. Rayn St., Basile, was charged February 20, with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, simple possession of synthetic cannabinoids and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dixon was being held in jail on a $40,000 bond at press time.
•Lance Taylor Duplechin, 28, 207 Maple Ave., Mamou, was charged February 20, with illegal possession of stolen things. Duplechin wass being held in jail on a $35,000 bond at press time.
•Megan D. Manuel, 23, 207 Maple Ave., Mamou, was charged February 20, with illegal possession of stolen goods. Manuel was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Kirby L. Simon, 39, 1309 Morrison Ave., Ville Platte, was charged February 20, with unauthorized entry, resisting an officer, battery of an officer, disturbing the peace by intoxication and littering. Simon was being held in jail on a $15,000 bond at press time.
•Gregory K. Dicks, 29, 1112 RFK St., Ville Platte, was charged February 23, with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of marijuana. Dicks was being held in jail on a $30,000 bond at press time.
•Allen M. Thomas Jr., 27, 1209 Grace Lane, Mamou, was charged February 23, with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and disturbing the peace by offensive language. Thomas was being held in jail on a $40,000 bond at press time.
•Dewayne Allen Thomas, 23, 522 East St., Apt. 3, Mamou, was charged February 23, with obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana, illegal carrying of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas was being held in jail on a $75,000 bond at press time.
