VPPD reports eight recent arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported eight arrests recently.
Arrested were the following:
•Jonathan Leday, 20, 3515 Casa Grande, Baton Rouge, was charged March 7, with no reflective gear and possession of marijuana. Leday was released on a $1,150 bond.
•Shauniqua Jackson, 28, 205 E. Jefferson, Ville Platte, was charged March 4, with leaving the scene of an accident and no driver’s license. Jackson was released on a $700 bond.
•Brian Henry, 35, 578 Belaire Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 4, with failure to obey stop sign and driving under suspension. Henry was released on a $500 bond.
•Kiney Griffith, 57, 545 Jean Duos Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 5, with theft. Griffith was released on a $500 bond.
•Victoria Anderson, 34, 511 Court St., Ville Platte, was charged March 4, with simple battery. Anderson was released on a $500 bond.
•Randy Jack, 40, 1519 Division Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 4, with no reflective gear. No bond information was available.
•Gladys Pleasant, 47, 715 Dr. Carver, Ville Platte, was charged March 4, with remaining after being forbidden. Pleasant remained incarcerated on a $500 bond.
•Carlos Skinner, 32, 1164 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged March 9, with disturbing the peace. Skinner remained incarcerated on a $200 bond.
