Port Barre shuts out Pine Prairie

Pine Prairie (2-8)saw their football season come to an end at the hands of Port Barre Friday night. The Red Devils took a 34-0 victory.
The home team scored twice in the first half to hold a 14-0 lead at the halftime mark. Runs by J.J. Sylvester helped move the Red Devils up the field. Sylvester scored the first score and then Austin Lanclos threw for another.
In the second half, the Panthers found themselves on the receiving end three times to PBHS scores.
Douglas Fontenot led the Panthers with 27 yards rushing on the night.
