Let the good times roll!

The New Comers Mardi Gras Parade, by far the biggest draw of crowds to St. Martinville, will kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday.

La Grande Boucherie des Cajuns, this year featuring Travis Matte & The Zydeco Kingpins, Cajun Nation, and Junior Melancon and the Come Down Playboys, opens at 10 a.m. in Magnolia Park on Saturday.

Both events feature food and music, arts and crafts, and are put on by local non-profit organizations.
