Local writer has story on Web site

Baton Rouge — Breaux Bridge native Sam’l Irwin has had a short story, “Death on the Marsh,” published on the Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, which is found on the Web at www.deadmule.com.

Irwin, who lives in Baton Rouge, has also been a contributor to the Teche News.

The Mule is the successor of a print literary journal supported in part by a grant from the North Carolina Arts Council.
