Book signing set for Charlene Richard author

Carolyn Anne Thibodeaux Keith, author of “Saint” Charlene Richard: Her Continuous Consecration to God, will have a book signing at the Evangeline Parish Library’s main branch in Ville Platte on March 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Keith’s book was selected to be presented at last year’s Annual Book Expo America in New York City, an event attended by over 30,000 people worldwide and the largest annual book fair in America.
Her book focuses on 32 miraculous testimonies of Charlene’s intercessory prayers, as well as interviews with Father Joseph Brennan, Charlene’s priest and mentor; Father Mike Shea; Father Floyd Calais, who has tirelessly promoted Charlene and her powerful prayers for many years; the four “Angels of Charlene;” and many others. The book also includes a biography of Charlene’s life with pictures throughout, as well as information regarding the evolution of the Charlene Prayer Cloth Ministry and its 150,000-plus members.
Father Joseph Brennan said, “Carolyn Keith has made a major contribution fo the life of Charlene Richard. Charlene never wrote a book, nor gave a talk, but her story is now well known.”
