Couple charged with fraud

Husband and wife, James and Jill Deville, 705 E. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, have been charged with multiple counts of theft by fraud in relation to their business, 3C Millworks.
James Deville, 40, is currently in the Evangeline Parish Jail on an $80,000 bond, while Jill Deville, 37, is being housed in Avoyelles Parish Jail because there are no accommodations for women in Evangeline Parish, and is also being held on an $80,000 bond. In addition, Jill Deville has had a probation hold placed on her, since she was on probation for a similar crime at the time of her arrest.
The couple also was at one time affiliated with K12 Christian Academy (803 E. Main St., Ville Platte).
