EPSO Arrest Reports

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Department reported 44 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Derek W. LeCompte, 34, 1222 Cherbourge St., Opelousas, was arrested on December 8, 2015 for obstruction public passage, simple battery, and attempted aggravated burglary. LeCompte’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Dan Cormier Jr., 1805 Dance Drive, Basile, was arrested on December 10, 2015 for driving under the influence (DUI), careless operation of a vehicle, and open container. Cormier was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Michael P. Fruge, 21, was arrested on December 11, 2016 for underage driving under the influence, improper lane usage, and expired motor vehicle insurance. Fruge was released from jail on a $1,500.00 bond.
• Kirby L. Simon, 40, 608 North Chataignier Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 11, 2015 for unauthorized use of a movable and driving under suspension (two counts). Simon’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Matthew R. Johnson, 25, 1085 Country Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 12, 2015 for issuing worthless checks. Johnson’s bond was set at $500.00.
• Brandon J. Ceaser, 34, 2349 Guillory St., Basile, was arrested on December 12, 2015 for possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of schedule II in public housing authority, and possession of schedule II in a school zone. Ceasar’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• John W. Parker, 36, 6119 Old Basile Hwy., Eunice, was arrested on December 12, 2015 for domestic abuse battery. Parker’s bond was set at $10,000.00.
• David K. Ardoin, 35, 1425 Dorthy Florida Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 13, 2015 for domestic abuse aggravated assault with child endangerment, stalijg, trespassing, disturbing the peace by profanity, and simple assault. Ardoin’s bond was set at $75,000.00.
• Keenan J. Ardoin, 22, 312 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 13, 2015 for possession of schedule II CDS (two counts) and no head lamps on motor vehicle. Ardoin’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Quentin G. Frank, 32, 420 North 11th St., Eunice, was arrested on December 14, 2015 for resisting an officer (two counts), aggravated assault, battery of a police officer, violation of CDS, disarming a police officer, and distributing manufactured or possession with intent of schedule II. Frank was released from jail on a $90,000.00 bond.
• Joseph B. Soileau, 23, 720 Tate Cove Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 14, 2015 for obstruction of justice. Soileau was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Scharika F. Patin, 30, 309 Point St., Mamou, was arrested on December 15, 2015 for theft under $750.00 and remaining after being forbidden. Patin was released from jail on a $7,500.00 bond.
• James E. Wilson, 33, 249 Church St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 15, 2015 for distributing a manufactured or possession with the intent of schedule I CDS and violation of CDS (two counts). Wilson’s bond was set at $50,000.00.
• Lea Ann Duck Hull, 35, 1116 Ash St., Pine Prairie, was arrested on December 15, 2015 for issuing worthless checks. Hull was released from jail on a $275.00 bond.
• Carlton Arvie, 44, 501 Allen St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 16, 2015 for simple burglary. Arvie was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Lucas Arvie, 30, 1129 Campbell Ave., Ville Platte, was arrested December 16, 2015 for possession of CDS (pcp). Arvie’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Wilbert L. Greene, 39, 146 Gilbert Drive, Opelousas, was arrested on December 16, 2015 for issuing worthless checks (seven counts). Greene was released from jail on a $1,250.00 bond.
• Scott J. Fontenot, 40, 1080 Jeffery St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 19, 2015 for adult sexting (two counts). Fontenot was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Joseph W. Duplechain, 25, 1021 Hackberry St., Mamou, was arrested on December 18, 2015 for domestic abuse battery. Duplechain’s bond was set at $75,000.00.
• Kyle M. Morein, 30, 617 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 21, 2015 for possession of synthetic cannabinoids and possession of schedule III narcotics. Morein’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Jeremy J. Morein, 28, 617 E. Jackson St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 22, 2015 for possession of drug paraphernalia (two coutns) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (crystal meth). Morein’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Jimmy P. Guillory, 32, 14991 P-Z Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 22, 2015 for possession of schedule II CDS (two counts) and possession of schedule IV CDS (two counts). Guillory’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Samuel D. Lee, 36, 2001 Rainbow Drive, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 24, 2015 for tail lamps, misuse of temporary plate, driving under suspension, distribution of manufactured or possession with intent of schedule II CDS, prohibited acts, and drug paraphernalia. Lee was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Maxine E. Fontenot, 56, 1035 Spirit Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 24, 2015 for DUI (second offense) and careless operation. Fontenot was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Christopher D. Tezeno, 19, 1111 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 24, 2015 for arm robbery or attempted with use of a firearm. Tezeno’s bond was set at $200,000.00.
• Michael Dupuis Jr., 36, 3335 Opelousas Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 26, 2015 for disturbing the peace by public intoxication and obstruction of public roadway. Dupuis was released from jail on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Dorthy R. Celestine, 45, 1014 Third St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 26, 2015 for distribution of manufactured or possession with intent of schedule I CDS and violations of CDS. Celestine’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Norman L. King, 37, 1109 Evan Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 26, 2015 for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm in presence of a CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. King’s bond was set at $35,000.00.
• Jeremy J. Larnette, 17, 1214 Fruge St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 27, 2015 for distribution or possession with intent of schedule I. Larnette was released from jail on a $10,000.00 bond.
• Avery J. Verrett, 53, 1011 Jeremy Cole Drive, Ville Platte, was arrested on December 27, 2015 for DUI (first offense) and exhibition of acceleration.
• Jill L. Deville, 31, 131 Rodney St., Ville Platte, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for criminal trespass. Deville was released from jail on $3,000.00 bond.
• Francine D. Spears, 48, 3504 Bond Rd., Mamou, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for reckless operation and drag racing. Spears was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Todd A. Spears, 52, 3534 Bond Rd., Mamou, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for reckless operation and drag racing. Spears was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Kendrick Cooley, 29, 500 Fuselier St. Apt. A, Eunice, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for distribution of manufactured or possession with intent of schedule II CDS, violation of CDS, and soliciting minors to distribute. Cooley’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Archillus R. Hebert, 27, 220 South Mallet, Eunice, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for violoation of CDS, soliciting minors to distribute, and distribution of manufactured or possession with intent of schedule II CDS. Hebert’s bond was set at $50,000.00.
• Mikayla S. Smith, 22, 555 E. Project Street #39, Simmsport, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for distribution or possession with intent of schedule CDS, distribution or possession with intent of schedule CDS (two counts), violation of CDS, cruelty to juveniles, prohibited acts, and drug paraphernalia. Smith was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Asia M. Wheeler, 19, 513 Daniel St. Apt. 24, Simmsport, was arrested on December 28, 2015 for distribution of manufactured or possession with intent of schedule I, distribution of manufactured or possession with intent of schedule CDS (two counts), violation of CDS, violation of CDS, prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia, and cruelty to juveniles. Wheeler was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Avturo Valdez, 25, 117 Tilly’s Lane, Bunkie, was arrested on December 29, 2015 for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, simple battery, and criminal trespassing. Valdez was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Dalilah J. Calvin, 33, 2231 18th St., Lake Charles, was arrested on December 30, 2015 for possession of schedule II CDS (cocaine). Calvin’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Trevoy T. Woods, 22, 581 Halsey St., Eunice, was arrested on January 2, 2016 for speeding, driving under suspension, expired motor vehicle insurance, and expired license plate. Woods was released from jail on a $3,500.00 bond.
• Brandon J. Hillstock, 32, 2451 Smith St., Basile, was arrested on January 2, 2016 for distributing manufactured or possession with intent of schedule II CDS (two counts) and violation of CDS. Hillstock’s bond was set at $25,000.00.
• Dylan C. Young, 21, 1428 Prairie Rhonde Hwy., Opelousas, was arrested on January 2, 2016 for no seat belt, switched license plate, failure to register, and driving under revocation.
• Jarred W. Clark, 31, 1617 Music Lane, Ville Platte, was arrested on January 3, 2016 for domestic abuse battery and false imprisonment.
• Carlton R. Leger, 52, 310 Evangeline St., Ville Platte, was arrested on January 4, 2016 for theft over $1,500.00 and Louisiana Workers Compensation statutes (misrepresentation of benefits payments). Leger was released from jail on a $25,000.00 bond.
