Supriya Jolly Jindal viisits JSM school in Ville Platte

Supriya Jolly Jindal, wife of Governor Bobby Jindal, visited James Stephens Montessori School in Ville Platte Wednesday, November 6.
Jindal visited the school to meet with students who are using hands-on teaching aids presented to four pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes at the school. The teaching aids were funded by the Supriva Jindal Foundation for Louisiana’s Children she created to improve math and science education.
The foundation is a partner with AT&T in the “School Surprise” program to provide the teaching aids, which include charts and counters for a math center or magnets and weather charts used in a science center.
Jindal said her foundation is dedicated to “establishing a strong foundation for our children” at an early age.”
