Female riders among top Tournoi qualifiers for first time

Two female riders, for the first time in the Louisiana Tournoi’s history, will compete in the annual Tournoi run on October 25. First time riders Lisa Crane (fifth place) and Jackie Store (eighth place), were among the top riders during the qualification run held Sunday, September 20, at the Industrial Park.
The top nine riders during the qualification run were: John Ross Guillory, first place; Keith Saucier, second place; Cody Manuel, third place; Chuck Manuel, fourth place; Lisa Crane, fifth place; Zack Fontenot, sixth place; Kelly Klein, seventh place; Jackie Store, eighth place; and Lance Soileau, ninth place.
These nine qualifiers will join the top 10 riders from last year’s Tournoi: Eric Guillory, Tournoi Champion; Alex Haller, second place; Kent Saucier, third place; Bryan Fontenot, fourth place; Paul Fontenot, fifth place; Shane Lee, sixth place; Marcus Guillory, seventh place; Austin Trahan, eighth place; Ryan Haller, ninth place; and Shane Trahan, 10th place.
Past Tournoi champions and retired Tournoi riders were in charge of scoring and keeping time.
