Heritage Manor News: Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you from all of us at Heritage Manor. We thank everyone that participated in our “Adopt a Resident” program for Christmas. Many thanks to all area merchants and organizations, church members, students, volunteers and individuals that helped out in any way to make this Christmas a joyful time for our residents. The family members that attended and brought covered dishes, we salute you for your support and generosity. We had a beautiful turn out for our get togethers with lots of joy and love in the air. Many thanks to Delana Brown and all parishioners of Ville Platte Pentecostal Church for always taking care of our dementia unit residents.
Activities this week include Come Lord Jesus Christmas party and service, manicures, caroling by Disciple Baptist Church, visits and gifts with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, piano playing and gospel music by Tim Sweaney, egg nog social, rosary, exercise, bingo sponsored by Compass Guardian Hospice, party and prizes and service by Washington Baptist Church.
The staff of Heritage Manor welcomes Willie M. Fuselier to the facility.
The staff of Heritage Manor wishes a Happy Birthday this week to Verna Soileau and Nora Deville.
Please keep in mind when visiting your loved ones to make sure their name is written on the tags of all articles of clothing and shoes to assure their items are returned to the proper resident.
Christmas gifts distributed to each resident should be labeled regardless of if laundry is done on premises or not. Thank you for your continued cooperation in this matter.
