Felisa Lopez Deshotel

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Felisa Lopez Deshotel, 91, of Ville Platte.
A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Ms. Deshotel died Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
Survivors include her only daughter, Mary Arleen Vidrine of the Vidrine community. Her memory will be cherished by her precious grandchildren, Katie Buller, Alicia Kelly, John Phillips and Christina P. Ardoin. She was further blessed with seven great-children. They were the absolute light of her life. She also leaves behind countless friends. They will surely miss her sweet smile and engaging conversations. She devoted her life to the care and happiness of her family. It was her true passion and her life’s goal.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mayonse Deshotel; her only son, Paul Romero Vidrine; and her mother, Emanuel Lopez.
