Mary Ella Deville Ardoin Soileau

Funeral services were held for Mary Ella Deville Ardoin Soileau, 79, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte, at 11 a.m., Monday, May 4. Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Mrs. Soileau died Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar “Jesse” Soileau of Ville Platte; three sons, Kent Ardoin and his wife, Joanne, and James Craig Ardoin and his wife, Lori, all of Faubourg, and Troy Ardoin and his wife, Amy, of Whiteville; three step-sons, Bobby Soileau, John Soileau and Chuck Soileau, all of Gonzales; one step-daughter, Faye Chambers of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, J.W. Deville of Grand Prairie, Steve Deville of Arkansas and Clyde Deville of Ville Platte; 10 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sylvan Ardoin; one brother, Tommy Deville; and one grandson, Lance Ardoin.
