Octavia Goodly Thomas

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Octavia Goodly Thomas, 90, of Mamou, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Mamou at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 13. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery.
Ms. Thomas died Saturday, June 6, 2015, at her residence.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Thomas of Mamou; one brother, Elry Goodly Sr. of Lake Charles; one sister, Lillian G. Marks (James) of Desert Hot Springs, California; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovency Thomas; her parents, Fulton Goodly and Eve Toussaint Goodly; four children, Elva Jane Henderson, Donald Ray Thomas, Lovency Thomas Jr. and Edena Thomas; and three brothers, Ardy, Milton and Nolton Goodly.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Saturday, June 13, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Mamou.
Rev. Albert R. Johnson will officiate.
