Sheriff's office reports 13 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 13 recent bookings into the parish jail. Charged were the following people:
•Jamie A. Carroll, 17, 1550 Traffic Lane, Ville Platte, was charged May 5, with hunting deer in closed season. Carroll was released from jail on a $2,000 bond.
•Gregory S. Gautreaux, 48, 1045 Gautreaux Road, Ville Platte, was charged May 6, with theft by fraud (two counts). Gautreaux was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
•Tristan D. Vidrine, 18, 1366 Magic Road, Ville Platte, was charged May 5, with hunting deer in closed season. Vidrine was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
•Derrick Brock Guillot, 18, 1140 Midway Drive, Ville Platte, was charged May 5, with hunting deer in closed season. Guillot was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
•David Wayne Fontenot, 54, 1884 Spillway Road, Ville Platte, was charged May 5, with hunting deer in closed season. Fontenot was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.
•Ricky Anthony Deshotel, 56, 513 Fifth St., Mamou, was charged May 6, with theft over $750. Deshotel was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•John Wesley Parker, 57, 1617 N. Green St., Basile, was charged May 5, with indecent behavior with juveniles. Parker was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Isaac M. Thomas, 20, 2693 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged May 9, with theft over $750. Thomas was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Frita Freeman Lee, 57, 224 E. Wilson St., Ville Platte, was charged May 9, with aggravated battery. Lee was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
•Dallas Keith Owens, 23, 308 W. Coleman St., Opelousas, was charged May 9, with DWI (first offense), no child restraint (three counts), contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, speeding, possession of alcoholic in motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and illegal use of a controlled drug in the presence of a person under 17. No bonding information was available.
•Phillip James Gallow, 33, 300 Jaco Road, Ville Platte, was charged May 9, with issuing worthless checks (three counts). Gallow was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
•Robert Chase M. Mitchell, 17, was charged May 10, with theft. Mitchell was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
•Angela Ann Rogers, 24, 395 Peace Road, Ville Platte, was charged May 9, with cyber stalking. Rogers was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
