Six roads targeted for paving in 08-09

St. Martinville — Parish Government has applied for state funding to pave Belle Terre Drive, Orchid Park Road, Nany Road, Mims Lane, Mim Callier Road and Bill Clause Drive, President Guy Cormier reported last week.

Cormier said the applications are under the Louisiana Community Development Block Grant.

“We are very hopeful that we will be notified in the spring of our applications being awarded,” he told the Parish Council.
