Mr. Ducote, Miss Fontenot plan March nuptals

The engagement of Miss Faith Marie Fontenot to Mr. Daniel Corey Ducote, the son of Joey and Kelly Ducote of Turkey Creek, has been announced by her parents, Darrell and Angela Fontenot of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, March 28, 2015, during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony at the Southern Forest Heritage Museum in Longleaf.
Miss Fontenot, whose mother is the former Angela Cary of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of the late Burkman John Fontenot, Wanda Fontenot, the late Florence “Flo” Fontenot, Jacqueline Cary and the late David Cary.
A 2011 graduate of Pine Prairie High School, she will graduate in May 2015 with a degree in psychology from Louisiana State University at Alexandria. She is currently employed with the Evangeline Parish School Board.
Mr. Ducote’s mother is the former Kelly Fontenot of Turkey Creek. He is the grandson of Johnny and Leola Fontenot and the late Harold and Caroline Leger.
A 2011 graduate of Pine Prairie High School, he received a degree in industrial electronic technology and instrumentation from Louisiana Delta Community College in December 2013. He is currently employed as an electrical and instrumentation technician with the Cleco Power Plant in Lena.
