Mr. Pete, Miss Serie plan September nuptials

The engagement of Miss Rabique Shelita Serie to Mr. Eurick Pete, the son of Marjorie Pete of Mamou and the late Rexfe “T-boy” Pete, has been announced by her parents, Roy Allen Serie and Shelia M. Serie of Ville Platte.
The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, September 12, 2015, during a 5 p.m. ceremony at the outside pavilion at the Northside Civic Center in Ville Platte.
Miss Serie, whose mother is the former Shelia Poullard of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of the late Mary and Harry Poullard, Leroy Serie and the late Mary Jane Serie.
A 2000 graduate of Ville Platte High School, she received an LPN degree at the Louisiana Technical College CB Coreil Campus in 2009. She is currently employed with Dr. Charles J. Aswell’s office in Ville Platte.
Mr. Pete’s mother is the former Marjorie Celestine of Mamou. He is the grandson of the late Yorick and Edonia Pete and the late Clifford and Beulah Celestine.
A 1991 graduate of Mamou High School, he received an associate degree in management assistance from LSU-Eunice in 1995. He is currently employed with Cooper Cameron.
