Heritage Manor News: Cotton Festival fun

This year’s Cotton Festival events were so much fun! It all began with the Contradanse and the crowning of new royalty Le Roi Andrus Chapman and La Reine Bobbie McCauley. They were crowned by Queen Cotton LXI Karlee Farris. Runners-up to the new king and queen are Pershing “Jack” Deville and Hazel Ortego. We congratulate them and thank the Cotton Festival board for their continued support and assistance. Many thanks also to all family members, volunteers and compassionate staff that assisted in any way. Our primping party was a fun time and our residents were treated like royalty. We thank Cynthia Fontenot for her dedication to all residents of Heritage Manor. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Grand Parade of Cotton today.
On Friday, October 30, we will be holding our Halloween costume contest and party in the activity room at 1:30 p.m. We will also be announcing our pumpkin carving contest winners. We encourage all family members to come and join us for lots of fun and prizes.
