Minister’s Corner: God is operating on a higher plane

If we looked only at the circumstances of our lives, we could find ourselves confused. Sometimes, it may seem that God isn’t fair in His treatment of His servants. Life is hard at best and sometimes it seems that God’s children carry a greater portion of the burden than others do. Ecclesiastes 2:23 says, “For all his days are sorrows, and his travail grief; yea, his heart taketh not rest in the night. This is also vanity.” Look at Job. God’s own testimony is that Job was a godly, faithful servant, according to Job 1:8. Yet, look at how Job suffered. It just doesn’t seem fair. Consider Jesus. No one has ever been more righteous than He, yet He suffered more than any man.
What we fail to observe is that God is operating on a higher plane than we can see. He is doing things that we cannot fathom. He is moving in ways that we cannot comprehend. What we must remember and hold onto is the Word of God. In Romans 8:28, it specifically says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.”
Regardless of the circumstances you face in this life, know that the Lord is with you and that He is going to make everything turn out for your good.
