Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office lists seven arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported seven bookings recently in the parish jail.
Arrested were the following:
•John Fitzgerald Poullard, 22, 1327 Martin Luther King Dr., Ville Platte, was charged April 23, with simple burglary (two counts), theft ($400) and simple criminal damage to property. Poullard was being held in jail on a $85,000 bond at press time.
•Herman Johnson Jr., 42, 307 N. Chataignier St., Ville Platte, was charged April 23, with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Johnson was being held in jail on a $35,000 bond at press time.
•Calvin Jason, 50, 1529 Max St., Mamou, was charged April 24, with theft over $750. Jason was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Douglas Wayne McKey, 52, 1101 W. LaSalle St., Ville Platte, was charged April 25, with careless operation and driving under revocation. McKey was released from jail on a $566.50 bond.
•Alexis Leigh Morgan, 18, 2831 Monier Ave., Mamou, was charged April 25, with misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Morgan was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Bertneis O. Edwards, 30, 712 Railroad St., Mamou, was charged April 26, with aggravated assault. Edwards was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•April Nicole Guillory, 36, 311 Point St., Lot A, Mamou, was charged April 26, with false imprisonment. Guillory was being held in jail on a $7,500 bond at press time.
