sheriff's office reports 13 recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 13 recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Joseph Tyler Tate, 27, 586 Angus Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 3, with DWI (first offense) and driving left of center. Tate was released from jail on a $1,176.50 bond.
•McCannson M. Collins, 32, 905 Railroad St., Mamou, was charged April 2, with obstruction of public passage, possession of Schedule II drug, resisting an officer by flight, driving left of center and no driver’s license. Collins was being held in jail on a $18,000 bond at press time.
•Eva Lathrice Smith, 38, 3507 Stagg Ave., Basile, was charged April; 1, with compulsory school attendance. Smith was released from jail on a $2,500 bond.
•Jerry James Freeman, 50, 1049 Robert F. Kennedy St., Ville Platte, was charged April 1, with domestic abuse battery. Freeman was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Charlotte Elaine Ardoin, 61, 915 W. Beauregard St., Apt. 92, Ville Platte, was charged April 3, with domestic abuse battery. Ardoin was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Michael Joseph Sleman, 54, 5527 Veterans Memorial Highway, Apt. 1, Mamou, was charged April 3, with molestation of juveniles (two counts) and aggravated rape of a juvenile. Sleman was being held in jail on a $150,000 bond at press time.
•Danny Lee Peterella, 55, 1077 Seabury Lane, Mamou, was charged April 6, with DWI (first offense) and driving left of center. Peterella was released from jail on a $1,393 bond.
•Shawn Daniel Sinecal, 34, Veterans Memorial Highway, Mamou, was charged April 6, with simple battery. Sinecal was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Justin Joseph Gartman, 29, 5021 Lanse Blue Road, Ville Platte, was charged April 4, with simple burglary. Gartman remained in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Shelton Treymone Robinson, 101 Railroad St., Mamou, was charged April 4, with possession of marijuana. Robinson was being held in jail on a $500 bond at press time.
•Daryl David Shaffett II, 22, 3318 Monier Ave., Mamou, was charged April 4, with simple burglary. Shaffett was being held in jail on a $10.000 bond at press time.
•Jimmy Roberts, 58, 909 Chestnut St., Apt. C, Mamou, was charged April 4, with aggravated battery. Roberts was being held in jail on a $30,000 bond at press time.
•Joseph Blaine Lafleur, 39, 1807 Megan Lane, Ville Platte, was charged April 4, with unauthorized entry of a dwelling and indecent behavior with a juvenile. Lafleur was being held in jail on a $60,000 bond at press time.
