Sheriff's office reports eight recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported eight recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Naomi Dupre Fontenot, 37, 2181 Junction Road, Ville Platte, was charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Fontenot was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
•Krystal Tiffany Clark, 48, 5536 St. Landry Highway, Ville Platte, was charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal. Clark was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
•Woodrow Samuel Williams, 43, 1120 Oak St., Mamou, was charged March 19, with domestic abuse battery and second degree battery. Williams was being held in jail on a $50,000 bond at press time.
•Kenneth Deonta Green, 35, 819 Chataignier Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 21, with DWI (first offense), no seat belt, driving under suspension and expired MVI. Green was released from jail on a $1,551.50 bond.
•Davis Lavine, 49, seven East St., Ville Platte, was charged March 23, with indecent behavior with a juvenile. Lavine was being held in jail on a $100,000 bond at press time.
•Alexander J. McNeel, 19, 1032 Cyprien Road, Mamou, was charged March 23, with molestation of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. McNeel was being held in jail on a $40,000 bond at press time.
•Ricky Lee Fontenot, 45, 114 E. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged March 23, with aggravated assault with a knife and aggravated battery. Fontenot was being held in jail on a $50,000 bond at press time.
•James Kirk Vidrine, 47, 102 Roonie Road, Opelousas, was charged March 23, with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of Xanax, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal use of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of someone under 17. Vidrine was being held in jail on a $25,000 bond at press time.
