Sheriff's office reports nine recent arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported nine recent bookings into the parish jail.
Arrested were the following persons:
•Adam Blaze Clark, 29, 5255 Crooked Creek Parkway, Ville Platte, was charged January 22, with domestic abuse battery. Clark was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond at press time.
•Kayanna J. Leblanc, 17, 116 E. Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged January 22, with criminal damage to property (two counts) and aggravated battery. Leblanc was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
•Rod Moville Jr., 21, 544 Ethel St., Church Point, was charged January 22, with forgery and theft of less than $500. Moville was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Christopher Charles Jr., 21, 5627 Vine St., Apt. 1, Ville Platte, was charged January 22, with simple burglary and simple criminal damage to property. Charles was released from jail on a $10,000.
•John David Spann, 26, 502 14th St., Glenmora, was charged January 22, with theft and criminal trespass. Spann was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond at press time.
•Justin Manuel Tezeno, 34, 603 E. Lars St., Ville Platte, was charged January 23, with no seat belt, driving under suspension, DWI, and invalid driver’s license. Tezeno was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
•Brandon M. Deshotel, 19, 325 Rue de Aimee St., Ville Platte, was charged January 25, with domestic abuse battery. Deshotel was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
•Christopher Charles Jr., 21, 5627 Vine St., Apt. 1, Ville Platte, was charged January 27, with simple burglary (two counts). Charles was released from jail on a $30,000 bond.
•Munoz Jose, age unknown, 2061 St. Landry Highway, St. Landry, was charged January 27, with domestic abuse battery. Jose was released from jail on a $5,000 bond.
